Agreement

By installing or using GlucoLog, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. “GlucoLog,” “we” and “us” refer to Long Vu, the developer of the app.

Apple’s standard terms and any applicable App Store rules also apply to your use of the app.

Health information and medical disclaimer

GlucoLog helps you record and review information that you choose to enter. It is not a medical device or healthcare provider, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Charts, comparisons, reminders and summaries are for general informational and organizational purposes only.

Meter scanning can misread a display. Always check the suggested value against your meter before saving it. Do not use the app to make treatment decisions or delay seeking professional care. Follow your clinician’s instructions and contact a qualified healthcare professional with questions about your health. For a medical emergency, contact local emergency services.

Your content and backups

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for keeping copies of any exports you want to retain. Your journal is stored on your device. If you export a CSV or backup, protect the file and check that the destination and recipient are appropriate before sharing it. Restoring a backup replaces the journal data currently on that device.

You retain your rights to information you enter. You give the app permission to process it locally only as needed to provide the features you choose to use.

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully and as intended for your personal health journaling. Do not attempt to interfere with the app, reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits, or use it to infringe another person’s rights. These terms do not limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend or discontinue all or part of the app or website to maintain or improve them. Some features depend on iOS permissions and capabilities and may not be available on every device or in every language. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Optional GlucoLog Premium subscriptions are billed by Apple through your Apple Account after you confirm the purchase. The App Store purchase screen shows the price, billing period and any applicable introductory offer before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; manage or cancel them in your Apple Account subscription settings. Apple’s App Store terms also apply.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that the law allows us to disclaim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including loss of data. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Keep independent backups of information that matters to you.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms when the app or applicable requirements change. Continued use after updated terms are posted means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
